- Mythology is greatly stupid
There are many myths that are spreading around the world, as it cause by now the Indian astrologers and their myth of the demons "Rahu and Ketu" people shouldn't focus their minds in mythologies, but the thing they should do is, read the Bible and see and read the whole TRUTH.
As it is written in Exodus 10: 22
"And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days."
In this chapter and verse, it tells us that when Moses blocked the sun with his hand, God made darkness.
So it simply means, mythology has nothing to do with that solar eclipse but God alone.
- Ninth Plague
In Egypt in the old testament, Book of Exodus 10: 22, when Moses blocked the sun, there came darkness that was felt. It is not rain but the solar eclipse. So that this happen the Pharaoh's crops will not grow because there was no light.
When God sent locusts, all them critters ate every green thing in Egypt, well that's after the Storm of Fire. So fire went down in heaven and devoured mostly everything in Egypt but except the Israelites.
They were safe because they were the children of God or short term "chosen people"
This happened not because God wanted to destroy that land, it's simply because, the Pharaoh was hurting God's people, he was stubborn, he keeps on saying no to God. And he has all these idols to worship.
After all that happened, God started to send Prophets, preachers, Pastors and teachers, to preach the gospel, to lead all lost souls to Christ.
This just like what happens to the Pharaoh, when a Prophet disobeys God, that Prophet will go down to darkness, like the ninth plague, the darkness is felt!
